How to make a chocolate caramel cheesecake!

My names Kerry and I'm a chocoholic! There I said it!! Today me and the boy made the most amazing cheesecake! Here's how we did it.

First off you will need:


:650g Cream cheese
:3table spoons of butter
:3/4 cups of sugar
: 250g of chocolate
:3 eggs
:150g cocoa powder
: 1 1/2 packs of Oreos
: Tin of caramel (i use coronation)it's easy to make your own but I cheated :O (i know, I know call Mary Berry)
:Tea spoon of vanilla essence.

And away we go...................

First pre-heat the oven to 180, gas mark 4, then pop a packet of your Oreos into a sealable bag and bash with a rolling pin. My helper started to eat the Oreos for the base so make sure you get someone trustworthy to do this!!

Melt your butter in a pan and then add to the Oreos, once added pop it in your cake tin (i use a 9") and pat down so it makes a strong base.



Then use the tin of carnation caramel and spread over the base.


Now for the filling. beat together (with a whisk) the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla essence, When mixed add the cocoa powder and just one egg, whisk until egg is blended in, then add another egg just until blended in and repeat with the last egg, (be careful not to overwhisk)

In a pan heat up for chocolate until all melted.

Then add to the mix, stir it all up and pour on top of the base, and pop it in the oven for 45-50 minutes.

For a really firm,thick and creamy filling leave overnight in the fridge once cooled

walla!!



Now kettle on, sit back and enjoy!
