How to make Gingerbread fudge!

Well, the run up to Christmas has officially begun!! I am so fricken excited!! it is my all time favourite time of the year, the weather, the trees/lights, the candles, been snuggled up in my biggest fleece jimmies, and the most favourite part is seeing my little boy filled with excitement! (my little girl is still too small to know what's going on)

So one thing that comes with Christmas in our house is baking, all those special treats! I love the smell of gingerbread and cinnamon wafting around the home! Don't get me started on the taste of homemade mince pies!! yum.

This recipe is for Gingerbread fudge, what else do you need on these cold nights, other than some fudge and a big mug of hot chocolate!!

All you need is these five things!

- ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
-12oz white chocolate
-3 tsp ginger.
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp nutmeg.

First pop the chocolate with the condensed milk and put it in the microwave for 2/3 minutes or until it's melted, (don't overheat) Stir until all the chocolate is melted and smooth.

Then add the mix of spices immediately, and mix all together.

Line an 8x8 tin with baking paper and pour the mix in, top with any sprinkles/toppings you like (I have used smarties) and then pop in the fridge for 3/4 hours. Once set cut into cubes and then Wal-la.

So quick and easy and it tastes amazing and the children love it!! Hey, you could even box it up and give to someone for a little gift, you cant beat a homemade present!
